05 Toyota Tundra 4.7 Tow

Found a 2006 Tundra 4x4 Access cab 47 auto wtow package 91K miles in very good shape for a decent price.

05 toyota tundra 4.7 tow. I have an 05 4 door limited 2wd with the 47 and tow a 28 ft travel trailer with it. Estimated trailercrawler weight would be 5700lbs. Need some input.

This is a great forum. The payload is 1620. I will need it to haul a 1982 toyota 4x4 rockcrawler to various offroad parks on the east coast.

The Tundra is available with one of two engines. Cheapest way to move a container here in Norway. And a 42 double cab with a maximum towing capacity of 10200lbs.

A 40-liter245-horse V-6 shared with the Tacoma and 4Runner and a 47-liter282-horse V-8 thats also found in the Sequoia. I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra 57L Double Cab 2WD 6 12 bed.

The hitch weight is 768 on the TT. Power to pull ok. The payload capacity is 1520 to 1730 pounds.

I dont have the tow package. That puts me a 1658 total if I carry nothing in my bed. We will be traveling from California to Yellowstone National Park.
