06 Toyota Tundra Making Vacum Noise

Hello I have a 2005 Toyota Sequoia that has been making a real loud vacuum sound at the first start only.

06 toyota tundra making vacum noise. Discussion Starter 1 Jun 15 2009. When in park or at a stop light or anytime the truck is sitting still and on I can here a tickingknocking. I know that the 2007 Tundra had drive belt and tensioner pulley noise issues and Toyota issued a TSB.

Ok this is gonna be hard to explain but basically at about 3500 rpms and on my engine makes a slight whistling noise i guess is how i can explain it. New member here. 06 Tundra X-SP 01 Tacoma Double-Cab In Memory of 91 Tacoma 22r-e 327799miles sosad.

It almost sounds like a vacuum leak. The noise is from the secondary air pump which sends hot air to the catalytic converter when the engine is cold. Purchased a new 2016 Tundra Crew Max 4x4 at the beginning of this year and love it other than it makes a noise that reminds me of something like valve train noise.

I have an 06 Reg Cab V6 40L. Only does this when I turn left. I have a Toyota Tundra 2006.

And sometimes it will make the noise right away and sometimes it will be up to 5-10 seconds later after I have come to a stop. I will post up a new pic soon just wanted to get this out there. Left work this morning in the rain and drove about 25 miles to a gas station got out to get a drink and noticed that when I pulled in my truck was making a whining noise from under the hood.

2013 46 2wd with 88k miles. It almost seems like its getting worse too it is starting to do it at idle. Payed it no attention and noticed the battery gauge is lower than normal.
