Toyota tundra 2007 cranks but wont start.

08 toyota tundra no ecm communiation no start. Today I had a 2018 Toyota Tundra 57 pick up truck towed into my shop. And I had taken it to a shop who suggests a new ECM replacement. Ill recommend to disconnect the cam sensor and check if ecm communication is possible.

Im having the same issue with my 08 No connection when brought to the inspection station. Since you have a 2001 Tundra the communication protocol is ISO-9141 which uses just pin 7 K line for bidirectional communication with pin 5 as the signal GND pin 15 the L line is not used or required and there is no copper connection present. Hey all had this vehicle in for a few days.

The engine cranks and turns over but will not start or run. This truck died while driving no start spins ok no ses at all when I check with the techstream ecu will not respond. All good ordered new ecm from toyota installed.

All relevant relays are working EFI starter circuit openingfuel pump fuel pump is working spark test shows coils are firing on crank fuel is getting to rail fuses look good. I wanted to get a second opinion or to see if anyone knows where I can get good prices because I know the 1189 they quoted me for a new ECM is wrong.

I dunno where too start and Im afraid toyota if gonna hit me over the head since my warranty is up. The mechanic pointed out the the ECM is under the passenger dash and was probably damaged by water.
